You need an actual VIC.

i have a program on my work computer that can convert the files found in a .d64 to individual .prg files. It's called 1541.exe or something.

Schema gave me the link a while ago.

When i get to work, i will either give you the link or send you the zipped file.

I use D64Editor by Forest Mook for working with D64 images. It will
create them, let you import and export files and has a sector editor
too. I use 64Copy by Peter Schepers to create .D81 and .D71 images,
then I format the images with WinVice.

I believe Marko Mäkelä's cbmconvert will also extract PRG out of a D64 (and so does X1541 which comes with VICE). I'm not sure if there is a program that both supports D64 and TAP though; you may have to do it in two steps (for religious reasons).
