There'll be some Vic20 games in the upcoming 8-Bit book anyhows... but I had considered such a thing but I doubt there would be enough people to pre-order on the machine. Now if I proposed a Nintendo one, it would probably get there...

I had no idea that ZX Spectrum and C64 book did sell that well.. :)

Over 400 copy is a lot.

But Vic20 book sure would be nice. Maybe we could check how many would like preorder and then buy some books to storage/Denial webstore for future.. Yes.. I know there is not webstore at Denial, but maybe one day.. 8)

Both books so far were printed to 1,000 copies. The Spectrum one has sold out, not sure how many sales the C64 one has done so far. The demand for a reprint on the Speccy one has caused a limited hardcover edition to be planned. I assume the 8-bit book will be printed to 1,000 as well...

I don't see a VIC 20 book. Did someone write one? Who?

Mike was asking Andrew about the possibility of production on a Vic20 book similar to the Speccy and C64 ones already out. The reply was sure, but it would have to guarentee 400 pre-orders to be put into production.

lulu.com can do a 192 page color hardcover 9"x7" for $33.33, plus shipping, made to order. That's 1/2 the price of the spectrum book hardcover.

I'm surprised that these things are made. Indeed I have often dreamed about publishing an in-depht guide to the VIC-20 in this millenium.
