Wow very good demo, it seems that works in NTSC machines too but is just off-centered.

But there is a PWP member here on Denial ?

There is a way to use all this knowledge for a new games instead of a demo ?

It works fine for me though... perhaps just access issues.

I checked this out now since my new monitor cable had arrived today. It is good, but the speech was much harder to understand than in Robotic Liberation (also by viznut/PWP). Robotic Liberation is still my favourite.

Nice demo. I took a video of how it looks on my NTSC machine:

Here's how it is supposed to look, for comparison:

I wonder how much timing and fiddling with the X positioning there really is going on behind the curtains. Otherwise it seems this demo with a few efforts could be made to run on NTSC as well, just use different screen offsets or read from ROM if suitable. Only Viznut can really tell.

The colours were much different on DQ's video compared to that added by Nosfe.. And yes Viznut must be a magician, although the speech synth in The Next Level wasn't as good as in Robotic Liberation. I think I've developed an obsession about Robotic Liberation, I watch it at least two times per week and listen to it many times a day.
