Hmm, I don't see much similarity to Pac Mac or Pengo. The gameplay seems more simplistic - just avoid 'em and collect 'em but with a lot of stuff moving in regular patterns and confusing the player. It reminds me of early Romik games, which often were a little quirky and had lots of single chars moving around.

Not much depth, but challenging and stylish 8)

No, there is depth! On level 3 the Pengo influence makes itself clear. There are boxes to push around and block the cannon bullets and the static shurikens (the moving shurikens, however, destroy the blocks). This makes for much more strategic gameplay. I wish you could start at this level and didn't have to complete the absolutely nerve-wracking ordeal of the first two levels! I enjoyed level 3 very much but died almost instantly on level 4. (My score: 3110)

I should also add that levels 1 and 2 are not 100% simplistic as the moving shurikens interact with each other and can make for unpredictable timing (which mostly makes the levels even harder ...)

Ah! The circles make you invincible for a time. I didn't notice until today when I watched necronom's video (plenty more on his channel!). Level one and two should be much easier now
