I have just completed an improved version of the Vic-20 S-video modification, which now incorporates jailbar removal. Here are a couple of examples of the results.

And here is the same machine before modification:
The S-video mod now has a buffered output and there are details for both the 'long board' and 'short board' VIC-20. There are also jailbar elimination techniques for other Commodore computers as well.VIC20 Jailbar removal & improved S-video modification.

Re: VIC20 Jailbar removal & improved S-video modification.
Thanks! This is very important to me, as the FPGA I've been working on does have jail bars. I'm playing with slew rates, power decoupling and track routing to try to reduce this, but at the end of the day, it is somewhat doomed once the signals leave the FPGA board and get to the main board.

Thanks, I'm going to try it out.
I have a few Vic-20s and will keep most with the blurry "period-correct" look, but will try this on one of them for sure.
