Happy Easter Greetings from Revision 2023!

Post by Mike »

Hi!

tokra and I wish you a Happy Easter from Revision 2023! I am writing this on the 3rd day, still going strong, with lots of LOUD dance music in the background (people going all out on the dancefloor before the bigscreen). Here are some impressions of today:

(View onto the train main station of Saarbrücken from my hotel room)

(The secret star of this year's Revision. tokra's VIC-20!)

P.S. tokra did a VIC-20 release in the Games compo. For now, check out pouet.net and YouTube - tokra will follow up with a proper Announcement here in Denial on tomorrow morning.

I tried to watch the stream on friday but I had some difficulties as I'm used to Youtube and Twitch, which lower image quality as long as needed.
Then on saturday evening I was busy and forgot about it, I hope they upload the video somewhere.

Make it happen!

The Revision party and its predecessor, the Breakpoint party, have always been scheduled on the whole Easter weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday). So if it is mainly a matter for you to announce your vacational plans to your employer early enough, you now know when Revision happens next year. :)

Wow Mike and Tokra, looks like you had lots of fun there (also, how could you resist in that loooong toilet corridor before getting to the wc? ). Will try to attend some time in the future, maybe getting older and retired from work 8)

That just requires the necessary amount of planning ahead ...

...

Here's a little bit of hall atmosphere with one of the attention grabbers I recorded on Sunday noon (*.avi, warning: ~70 MB, download):

Image

They play it each time a compo comes up (and sometimes also for other announcements, like someone parking his or her car at a wrong place).

Lynn does the introduction of the Executable Music compo, and if you look closely, you can spot lft at around 00:12. :)

A Happy Pentecost to all! :D
