Just wanted to say I too bought a Behr-Bonz cart, and I love it. Eslapion is a great guy for making these available to the community, and you don't even have to wait a year or two to receive one. -Mitchell

I'm really glad you like them.

About a year ago, 2 guys in Montreal nagged me to make a new batch of the BB carts and I was afraid they wouldn't sell well.

Not only did the whole 50 first boards sell, I still get orders for them and even sold another one today.

I was amused and impressed when mrr19121970 started selling stickers for the cart.

Know that:
- All Behr-Bonz cartridges are soldered by hand and this shows when looking at the added resistor/diode mod for the reset to menu button.
- No two carts are exactly alike; there are many minute differences on the type of chips used, some have LS08, some have HCT08, the color of the button can be different, some have new LS273, some have NOS ones, some have philips HCT14 chips, most have TI, resistors come from many different batches, some have a mixture of 1/8 watts and 1/4 watts and the reset mod sometimes uses through hole diodes, some used surface mount diodes.

The first 2 proto units used PCBs with no gold plating, the first 50 production units had boards with no soldermask, the 50 next ones had a green soldermask and finally ,the 80 boards of the 2015 generation all have blue soldermask.

Yet... all work perfectly fine. I guess that's what matters.

Just wanted to give proper credits to Thomas Lovskog for the top quality PCBs I got since spring of 2015.

Back in 2008, Multifor located here in Montreal made the 1st 100 boards and they had many problems that required fixing manually - I vaguely remember about 12 serious defects I had to fix. This company is now out of business.

I left Thomas take care of the board fabrication for the new batch, 80 boards were made in all so far. All boards turned out to be absolutely perfect. The gold plating is top quality too.

all (or almost) the best games x VIC20 are present and immediate!!!
the menu' and reset button works perfectly.
for the remaining games that are not present here a good SD2IEC with 16k Memory Expander ( mod.in banks) ..Do the rest to 100%!

Yup...... I have to say.. Its a wonderful cart..... speedy, slick and refined.
When combined with the shell of an old random VIC Cart (A Commodore official one),
and the great label from the super... mrr19121970 ...its a thing of beauty from every angle..!

Hurrah! The Behr-Bonz cart came in my mail today. It came well-wrapped in a sturdy packing box. I should find the older Behr-Bonz cart I have and compare its design to the current one.
