I am relieved you have the means to diagnose and attempt a repair. I certainly didn't mean to send you junk.
Thanks for your understanding. We will work something out eventually. Let me know how you make out.
Tsm: Your 1571 (which we already know is not working) is now in the capable hands of Deutsche Post. Let me know once you have received it.

Sure, I will. Thank you.
I wonder what happened to the VIC20. Maybe it's the PSU's fault. Anyway this old equipment can stop working anytime, like the VIC chip in my '20 and the lower read/write head in my 1571 did. It's not something you have much control over. But I'm quite confident that this particular VIC20 will be OK soon.

Hi Dragos,
Still waiting on your confirmation. PM me with your address details and I can send off your C128 right away.
If you changed your mind, that's okay too. Just let me know.
Take care!

Hi pitcalco,
just registered here on Denila to be ablt to talk to you:
if Dragos does not response, I would like to jump in picking it up
Do you still have other C= related stuff you want to "get rid" of?
I am Berlin resident like you, so picking up might be most easy.
Cheers

Hi Elwee! (or should I say, "hello neighbour"

)
Yes, Dragos has contacted me and I will be sending off his C128 today.
I do have a few Commodore things left - a few bits and pieces, frankly, but I am happy to find good homes for them. I will post a formal list a bit later, but I can mention that I have a Cassette Unit, a 1541 disk drive (working, but no cable or power unit), VIC 20 Money Decisions cartridge, Gorek and the Microchips book and cassette in original box (dodgy information on the cassettes, but some people on this forum have the code), and a book "Introduction to basic, part I" for the VIC.
I will also be giving away a 110V NTSC VIC once I have found the power unit and cords. I used it in Sweden perfectly fine using a DIN to SCART cable and a 220-110 power converter.
In the same lot, I am giving away a 60-in-1 electronic project lab, which I hope will find a good home too.
Stay tuned - Auf Wiedersehen!

A true NTSC VIC? Interest instantly declared!
And the 1541 (a spare one is always a good descision)
If it's OK at that point, just send me a PM.
Cheers

Great stuff, TSM.
Good luck with that. I will be curious to know how you finally get it up and running.
Enjoy!

Update:
Looks like elwee is a no-show in spite of a few PM reminders. Thus, the things he wanted are up for grabs again.
So here is what is left.
1. One 1541-II disk drive. Working, but no power unit or connecting cable.
2. A box containing: 1 VIC 20 NTSC 110 V - 2 prong power inlet in side. Comes with 2 cassette units, power unit, video cable and RF converter (you will need to get one of those sliding-bar switch connectors to use on an old NTSC telly, if that is what you want to use as a display). Gortek and the Microchips book and cassette in original box. Introduction to Programming I. A few other odds and ends. This box will ship out as a whole.
Elwee, if you are still floating around here somewhere, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Jsund: Sorry, it looks like Elwee came out of the woodwork in the nick of time. He was able to pick up his goodies in person.
Elwee: I hope you enjoy your NTSC VIC. It is nice to know that my new neighbours are also into Commodore computers.
Tsm, Joshua: Let me know how your repair efforts are coming along. It would be great if you could breathe new life into those things.
Now, I am all cleaned out. I am happy to see that my stuff all seems to have gone to good homes. See you all elsewhere on the forum!
