With easter eggs too!vic user wrote:The Easter bunny brings mega-cart!

I assembled a MegaCart last night to verify PCB was okay from supplier
........and it works!!!
A large order of parts arrived at my office this morning.
I am waiting on NVRAM chips which should be on a plane tonight and arrive sometime tommorow morning.
I am picking up reset switches locally on Saturday morning and that should be it for parts, with exception of label & case insert printing.
Assembly should commence on the weekend.

I am waiting on labels (which should be available for me to pick up on Monday).
Here is images of a couple of completed megacarts ready to be installed into cart cases.

There was an error on PCB layout which requires me to add 2 wires to correct bug for address lines A8 & A9 between the eproms.
However, this a just a minor inconvenience for me during assembly.

Yes, there will be a serial number sticker on back of the cart case.amramsey wrote:Are you putting serial number stickers on the PCBs or cart cases? That would be good for bragging rights later on.
There is also and easter egg with serial number of each unit.
This will display to screen the info.

I finally managed to get acceptable labels printed.
This is the result with a sample MegaCart (black case)

These are glossy vinyl labels and are UV resistant.
The colours are a bit more vibrant than the picture suggests.
My flatbed scanner is not the best to capture image details.
I also bought the batch of labels which printer had cropped square by mistake.
I likely will be selling these for nominal amount.
I really did not want to see these go to waste and they should make good bumper stickers for the MegaCart fanatic
