In the next issue of Retrogaming Times Monthly we are planing on doing a classic Winter Games special. I have been asked to cover any Vic 20 games with a winter theme.
I would appreciate it if anyone could steer me in the right direction. I have searched through my collection and have only found a couple of skiing games written in basic.
If you know of some good winter themed games (skiing, ice skating, ice hockey, anything else) please tell me about it, and if possible, a link to a game image I can play on my emulator.
I look forward to any replies.
Any Vic 20 Winter games?

On this German page, there is a homebrewn version of the Biathlon event from C64 Winter Games. The graphics are rather nice, but the game is written in Basic:

As Mika wrote, there's plenty of downhill skiing/slalom games, both commercial and type-ins. I doubt there would be any icehockey or even more obscure skating games, but anyone is welcome to prove me wrong. Generally, the VIC-20 was a bit early for sports games alltogether.

Tonks, I read your article in Retrogaming Monthly. I believe you got it wrong about two skiing games in the Mini-Game compo; as far as I can rememer only Aleksi Eeben's "Vuokatti" (which maybe translates to Speed Ski?). I don't know from where you got that other example - Ski Run - which indeed looks very basic.
In the Biathlon game, the skier moves by himself. According to the listing, Z and X should make a diffference, but barely. I've managed a top speed about 30 in uphill. Fire with <-. Likely, the nice graphics could be lifted into a new game engine.
