Re: Behr-Bonz 2015
What font are you using for VIC-2015?
I'm using JERSEY M54 but feel the tails on the C are too short

Re: Behr-Bonz 2015
I searched the net for some free 'College' style font most comparing the orignal font C= used, and found a font named MONOTONE REGULAR. I used Inkscape for the work, adding an extra outline to the letters.

AFAIK "VIC-2016" should be in font ITC Machine.

This was the 1st hit bing brought me. Maybe google has different results? I already downloaded onto my phone.
I guess this is the link http://fontsgeek.com/fonts/ITC-Machine-Std-Medium

Re: Behr-Bonz 2015
I did not stat an own search yet, thanks for posting the link.
Quick comparing both fonts (MONOTONE REGULAR and ITC MACHINE MEDIUM) it comes up, both are quite similar.
upper: MONOTONE
lower: ITC
So to me it seems, I'd picked the best font I could gather.

Great label.
I am just waiting for my Bahr Bonz to arrive.
Then i am gonna buy a cheap random VIC cart to but the BONZ inside the shell.
Then get printing. Gracious

Actually, it's not really needed. The behr bonz is so small it is actually inside the machine. One thing I am missing is how to exit back to BASIC (without unplugging it)

Re: Behr-Bonz 2015
Quicker than a mega cart. I think posted on 12th Feb, took maybe 14 days to arrive. Thankfully no additional customs fee was needed.
I am not sure if the reset switch on the wire is standard, or as eslapion knew I planned to build into a cart case. I will replace this with a screw in type, as I have no idea how I can mount this one. K3ys card has a similar button, but on the board.

Re: Behr-Bonz 2015
That can be remedied with a slot expander. The one I have is 4-way and it quite happily takes the Behr-Bonz and a 32k expansion. Each slot has an individual switch so you just turn whichever one you want on or none of them if you want unexpanded VIC.mrr19121970 wrote:Actually, it's not really needed. I already have the Mega-Cart but I use this set-up whenever I want something a bit more bare metal.

Just choose one of the 5 Scott Adams games and omit to type SYS32592 to start the game.mrr19121970 wrote:Actually, it's not really needed. The behr bonz is so small it is actually inside the machine. One thing I am missing is how to exit back to BASIC (without unplugging it)
Standard meaning?I am not sure if the reset switch on the wire is standard, or as eslapion knew I planned to build into a cart case.
For a Behr-Bonz to properly reset to menu, 2 different things have to be reset. Just activating the internal reset line of the VIC-20 will just restart the game that's running.
If you want to install the reset to menu button, all you have to do is drill or grind a pair of 1mm wide slots in the center back tab of the cart's case to pass the legs of the switch and fix the button in place with thermal glue.
The normal maximum turnaround time is usually 3 weeks.Judge Drokk wrote:Did yours take long to arrive ..?
There has been a surge in orders for pretty much all the products I sell. One gentleman ordered no less than 20 PLAnktons in a single order, another ordered 7 Behr-Bonz.
Its rush hour for me right now.
Be normal.
