Update: play-testing Zork I, and it hangs with "fatal error" at various stages of the game. Now, on with Zork II, but I suspect the VIC interpreter is far from being perfect . The thread in the German forum has not been updated since Tokra's last post.. Dead end?
A final word about this implemetation of the Z-machine interpreter for VIC: Zork II and III also present the same problem(s), hanging at various moments of the game. Worse, the thread in forum64 has not been updated since January, and my VIC setup has been dismantled in favor of a brand new desktop PC for family reasons .
