Hello,

I made this simple intro for the unexpanded VIC-20 last year for the Alternative Party old-school demo competition. Due to a mistake it wasn't shown on the big screen, though.

Intended for a PAL VIC, probably won't work properly on NTSC.

Neat! You should put in on pouet.net though - demo-people out there need to know the VIC is still alive!

The emulated sound was really off on my cheap netbook. The processor must be too slow. I watched the video, and I don't understand why that didn't make the big screen. Looked amazing.

Full screen can only be triggered as result of user input.
The emulator manages to go full screen when you select a game as selecting the game was input.
Unfortunately just hitting the URL does not convey enough privilege to set full screen.

Very impressive job, for both graphics and sound.

By the way (off topic) I'm more and more realizing that Chrome is TRULY much faster than Firefox. The link to mdawson.net almost didn't work on Firefox (no sound, and graphics so slow they didn't make any sense) while it was fast and reactive on Chrome.

Check you have the latest firefox and don't have firebug installed/turned on.
Firefox is a little slower but not that much.
Things such as sound and full screen should work on latest firefox.
The pre version 5 ones are pretty slow.
