VIC Game of the Moment.

Post by Jeff-20 »

Everyone has a "Top Ten" list or a sentimental favorites list. But what was the last VIC game you really got into? Not just surveyed, but really enjoyed and played the most in your past few gaming sessions?

For me, my VIC game or the moment is City Crusher. A very simple, addictive pleasure.

Recommend your game of the moment. I'd like to play whatever you've been enjoying.

The last game I played was something in German that I can't remember. But I could look it up if you're curious.

Trout, City Crusher, Frogger '07, Tetris+ and Ten Ten

Yes I know, I'm a little bit monotonous but at least I've added Ten Ten on my playlist lately

I'm loving me a bit of Mission Mercury at the minute. I find it hard as nails but totally compelling. Also, Omega Fury. If this game had been released in the Vic's heyday it would now be counted as a classic (and I mean that!). :)

Traxx and Centipede. The VIC version of the latter is probably one of the best versions I've come across.

TenTen (on Vice)
RiverRescue (on the megacart)
Amok!
Adventureland (started again after all these decades)
Blitz

(additionally I found "Nibblers Two!" in gamebase v1
and I have started to play it again)

Simple games for a simple man

I was just about the query the latter when I remembered that Matrix is called AMC in the US. Talk about confusing matters...

At the moment erm... what on the Vic20? Waiting for the release of RQ3 I guess. And just checking a final few entries into GB20...

I'm really excited so many are still playing TenTen. Is there any reason you play it on VICE rather than the megacart version?

He probably plays it at work (like me)! ;-)

Jeff, I'm still thinking about a TenTenTwo with graphic updates, if you're interested. :-) I have a couple of ongoing graphics projects but, one day...
