The community has choices ...
IMHO, there is only one choice for VIC 20 enthusiasts ... :D

But keep the spammers out, heh, as it's also quite alarming when you go to the "official" front page, and it is hammering away at advertisement sites before you can even click the FORUM link. I was glad to see that got cleaned up too.
Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.

I call things as I see them. Denial has enough lickspittles, evidently.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

I recently registered on Amiga.org. They filter out spammers by asking random questions about the Amiga; the questions assume either prior experience or a bit of reading on Wikipedia. I don't know how effective this method is, but it seems more thorough than a self-explanatory password.

On the whole, though, I'm very happy here on Denial. Until a couple of years ago, I thought Spam was a form of processed meat .

Okie, is this matter resolved now? My moderator's finger has been leaning on the move and lock buttons for a few days, but decided not to push them yet.

Except for a few short weekend trips, I won't go away on holidays during the rest of July and August, so if I remember I will try to log in at least daily to stop those spammers that either fooled Jeff or found their way in through a backdoor. ;-)
