Btw since i like the old aspect too, i've found a solution for the new 2.1 version:
1) Go to Settings --> Video settings menu
2) Select the "Colors" folder
3) Change the Saturation value from 1.000 to 2.000
Now colors in PAL emulation are similar to the old versions.
I think I have found a better setting:
Video setting:
Vic palette and colors: Keep default values.
New PAL Emulation: Set Tint to 0.4
PRG Starter - a VICE helper / Vic Software (Boray Gammon, SD2IEC music player, Vic Disk Menu, Tribbles, Mega Omega, How Many 8K etc.)
Excellent Boray, with PAL emulation ON and a Keyrah in a VIC keyboard attached to the PC, I can't see the difference with the real thing (well, almost).
