Does anyone have a spare VIC-20 keyboard with the older-style "block letters"? Or a VIC-20 "parts computer" with this type of keyboard?

Thanks for the tip! I'm still learning all of the "VICisms".

Thanks, Schema, for the keyboard! I got it in the mail yesterday, and it's already "in use".
Check out a closeup shot of it at the bottom of my BBS's website (link below) !!!

Golan,
To be honest, I never really cared for the 64c's keyboard with the tiny little graphic charachters squeezed on top of its keys along with the letters. But that's not why I swapped out the keyboard. Originally, I put a "breadbin" C64 keyboard in it, because when I got it, two of it's original white keycaps had been replaced with brown keycaps. I didn't like the way that looked at all! Not having a spare 64c, I swapped it out with the "breadbin" keyboard so that all the keycaps were uniform. Then I thought... Wouldn't it be cool to have the newest C64 with the oldest VIC-20's keyboard? Sort of a merging of generations, so to speak. I had read that all VIC-20 and C64 keyboards were compatible with one another, so it was an easy job to do. The hard part was finding a spare VIC keyboard... But Schema was kind enough to supply that.
So there you have it... And that's... the REST of the story!
