Congratulations Aleksi on the release. Certainly my favourite 8-bit version, a sensational conversion.

I've been playing through the testing so have got a few upgrades, just left Zaonce - I must have missed you by minutes Commander Mike!

BTW, good idea to make the radar pin heads smaller for cargo, bits etc.

That is a good choice for the first upgrades with E.C.M. and Beam Laser - I'd recommend though to next buy Large Cargo Bay and Fuel Scoops. Beware of Aronar!

In case anyone's wondering about the font in my status display above, I changed that by patching the first file on disk with my own 4x8 pixel font.

I am so exciting in trying this out. I was of time minds what to do next, play elite on the C64 I have currently setup or get the Vic20 setup again. I know what wins now

Hi Aleksi,

would it be possible to release a special VIC-20 ELITE denial version? I'm thinking of implementing the many possible better routines that have been released in the last few years. Just an idea.

Absolutely amazing!!
I spent many hours playing the C64 version and now look forward to playing it on (I can't believe I am saying this) my VIC-20
