Hi there,
I see to remember that someone created a one or two EPROMS with an alternative version of BASIC. I am not sure if this was paired with an alternative kernel rom and I am not refering to JIFFYDOS.
I cannot remember what it was called, or who wrote it. I like tinkering with alternative programming languages FORTH, COMAL80 Pascal etc and just fancy a bit of a change. Also, I am looking for ham radio software for the Commodore Vic-20 and C64.

Not really an alternate but rather a bug-fixed version of BASIC V2 is found here: Fun with CBM arithmetics, Part II.
Other than that, there are several ROM-able extensions of BASIC V2 floating around, like WimBasic, wAx2 or Waterloo BASIC.

If you have a specific application in mind, that'd help somewhat to narrow the search space.mister35mm wrote:I cannot remember what it was called, or who wrote it.
