Auction Price - Why?

Post by vicassembly »

Does anyone have a clue why this auction is climbing high?

Is there something rare in here that I am missing? ;-) :D

This is my auction, and I have no clue why, but I'm sure not complaining. :D :D

My goodness! Somebody really wants that VIC-20! I was biddng on a C64 in September and we were at about $95 - then it shot up to $3250! I messaged the seller and told him someone was screwing with him - and they killed of the two accounts that jacked it up so high. I ended up winning it at the $95 and use it all the time.
Good luck with your auction, I was the guy that bought those seven or so C64 cartridges from you on eBay a month or so ago. They work fine (at least the three I have played do)

Someone who has excess money might just want that bundle for a gift. Hope it works out!

It seems to have been sold at 273.50USD.. which is still less than what my Vic-20 costed in early 1983 (at least here in Norway).

Somebody wanted one of those tapes... was likely a rare one in there.

Hopefully it won't drive the price of everything else up through the roof. "well look at how much this guy sold it for"
