I agree this looks fantastic. I've thought about the outline around the moon as well. It looks like the game uses the inverse-mode, so the background color is black and every other color is a char-color. - using raster-interrupts to change the background-color
- using multicolor-chars for the moon
However both methods would lead to corruption once a "sprite" goes through the moon-graphics. Not sure, if the moon could be placed in a safe-area on the screen that the sprites cannot go, but this would probably mean a big change to the level-design.
