Thanks. I've dealt with it in a very intense fashion that scared absolutely everybody. But in the end: what doesn't kill you... Got my shit together and am healthier and more optimistic than ever.

@tokra: does that offer with them paddles still stand?

Sadly, the Paddles are out of stock at that store now. I see them on Ebay still, though. Just let me know your shipping address by PM :)

At revision 881: http://hugbox.org/pixel/software/vic-20 ... do.881.zip

* Fixed Ultimem version.
* Playable paddle mode.
* Removed arcade sounds from +32K version.
* Obstacles don't change the ball's steepness.
* Upped to 60Hz per second for original turns of speed.

...and it runs on +16K again.

Pixel, if it wasn't running on XVIC, I'd hardly believe it's a VIC-20. And this says it all :). Really something to run in real hardware and show to C64-addicted friends.

Have also tested it now... hard to beleive this is the ol' VIC20. :D

When testing is with xvic, I ran into error "Main CPU: JAM at $2773. Start monitor? (No reset, cancel will continue)". This has happened when Vaus fetches a diagonal line that is dropped from the bricks. Known issue?

Gotcha! Thanks a lot. Am grateful for advance payments but they're not necessary. :)

I'm in deep shit, dude. Could write a freakin' novel about it. You'll get what you want.

Yeah, yeah. Old samo. Went through a couple of months of healthy living, but now, as I'm terribly stoned again, the funny syntax highlighting colours have drawn me back to the terminal. Was just wondering how Mike made the DOH as its animation is missing... Mike... PM.

Perhaps it's better to cut the fun part. I'm back in Berlin again where the rents skyrocketed. It's SO not funny. Fortunately what also skyrocketed is the demand for developers. *muffled "thanks for the Brexit"* :( "Spare" time goes into things that are more likely to resolve these issues (job/flat!). Am just glad that I made it through four people kicking the bucket within 8 months (dad, brother, uncle, friend). Could do some lazy day hacks but I guess that'd just cause aggravation.
