There still is a fine line between digital archeology and illegal copies, even if there are suggested amendments to the laws to open up for archiving obsolete software etc. Sure, but i would go with the "if you are the copyright owner of this work ..." Or like some rom sites i know : &quo...

Maybe we could use OCR and save some typing. I wasted a good 3 hours finding the OCR app that i liked and i abandoned. Most OCR neural network code assumes the text is built in human language, and basic is really alien to it. Like everything i download im always tempted to write my own damn app ins...

I kind of imagined the WIKI to have the ROMS available for download when you read about the game. But a database like at AtariAge would be great too. It's excellent. Indeed, also we could add country variations, NTSC/PAL, tapes/carts of the same title. It would be truely great and a nice hobby to f...

My point of view: shame on anyone who turns digital archaeology into an ego trip. While i agree with this, you need to give respect for people , like Arma, who spent unimaginable number of hours in dumping all these taps. Some people will want that recognition. On my end, i dont really mind either ...

I'll register a domain name and host content, if there are folks interested in this concept. I do not have time for web page updates though. Im scanning and cleaning TONS of Cartridge and Tape Box covers and instructions, making new dumps of carts and taps of games/utils. My dream would be a wiki l...

Miles better than the Parker Bros terrible official release. Even better that the classic "Froggee". I was JUST about to say the exact same thing! Very nice fluid animations, high res graphics and nice music (which froggee lacked completely) I really like the attention to detail, like the...

The other question (suggestion) is, will the PCB fit in a Omega Race shell,
with space for the screw hole. That would totally rule as well.

I can see mine sprayed black with custom sticker already.

Yes, thats a good idea,. I have no eprom burners, (and im sure not many of you have some) With a small basic + ML subroutine, it would be easy to flash certain parts of the flash at will. Adding carts, programs as you see fit, or doing your own games and such. I find its a much more flexible approac...

True, but i added "total dummy steps" since the original post was not obvious enough for newbies in rom hacking .. like me since i had to learn the cardco's functions too.
