Look at the text below (from the vic20 reference guide: http://www.geocities.com/rmelick/prg.txt ) What I can gather from it, you should look at how pin 10 to 13 on the expansion port is connected (What leaders on the cartridge that goes to pins 10 to 13 of the vic20 expansion port). If you for exam...

I wouldn't shorten anything if I didn't know for sure... Maybe you should both cut somewhere and shorten/solder something else... I don't know... One problem could also be that you maybe just have one big 16K hunk of memory, and how would you put 16K of memory in a 8K memory space? Block 5 is only 8...

(vic-emu is r...

4k ROM files works just the same, just make sure you have RAM where they should be placed in memory. I don't know how it is with the original 16K RAM cartridge, but I think my brother said once that they don't work for this... But I have a 16K RAM that is a rebuilt Commodore 8K RAM and it has switch...

Is there a SYS to perform a run/stop-restore?
Is there a SYS to perform a run/stop-restore? There doesn't seem to be a RESTORE button on the vic20-emulator on Amiga, so I would need a SYS to do the same thing as the button combination. (By first pressing break and then typing in the SYS manually)... Anyone?

It was one of the demos on the address you gave me some time ago. One of the demos was called Kekkonen, and there was demos about robots takingover the world etc... It was in one of those demos on that page... You are right about that with 64-people buying a vic-20 and allready having a diskdrive. B...

Another thing to think about is that plug-in games also is a form of memory expansion. The program is running on board of the cartridge, just that it is running in ROM memory instead of RAM memory. Most cartridge games uses 8K of ROM. They use the computer's internal 5K RAM too, which means the game...
