Unfortunately no. It's a long story but suffice to say it's in the bin... :(

The problem is getting the time to do it all.
I will of-course also contribute to the wiki.
If you need any help with the data entry or proof-reading end of things just give me a shout :)

Looking for a PAL VIC-20

My VIC died a wee while back (I've actually lost my C64, 128D and VIC in a matter of weeks!) and have been trying to get one on eBay. I'm tired of waiting for days for an auction to end just to get sniped at the last minute so I have come here! Does anyone have a PAL VIC for sale at a reasonable pri...

Possibly a Gamebase can contain links to Wiki articles in case people want to expand on the story behind games more than the fixed format in the database listing. I agree a Wiki isn't quite searchable in the same way e.g. Gamebase64 is. That's kind of my thinking. There's no reason why links couldn...

Och, it was about as limited edition as a fly in the air. I can't remember off-hand but it was 10's of thousands...suffice to say the Mega-Cart will, no doubt, be more collectible in the future. :)

I don't really see it as re-inventing the wheel but more of adding stabilisers to something when the extant wheels are a bit wobbly! :P I don't think there is any comparison in the display of information and friendly accessiblity of Gamebase 64 and the dry, if concise, delivery of the C64 wiki. I fe...

^ Too true. For me $100 for the Mega-Cart is an absolute bargain and was pretty chuffed when I found out the price. My best friend (a gaming geek like me) on the other hand thinks it's a total waste of money but happily spent the same amount on the 'limited edition' Halo 3...which I thought was a ri...

I had a look around and found that on the BBC Childrens site they have changed the 'O' from the word Order to the word Other even though they explain Other to be the same as Order! Here's a quote: "...All of these terms are fairly obvious except for 'Other', which are really just powers (e.g. 2...

Yeah, it could be that east-west thing again. We have quite a lot of that over here! For the record I don't really care much I was just ribbing you a little. :)

1563? Wow, that's about 50% more than I thought! That's a lot of lovely games I don't know about... Maybe we should use all your hard work on GB20 to build a sister site to Denial similar to the Gamebase 64 site? Would that be possible, at all? It may help to draw in some new blood to the VIC world....

Brackets, ORDER, Division, Multiplication, Addition, Subtraction. Order basically means 'to the power of'. :)

I remember that from school too!

Only if you speak Gaelic! :P

I'm Scottish and so is my girlfriend and we would both pronounce the 'L' in it ie/ Cal-hoon. Maybe it wasn't just the early immigrants that were illiterate? Either that or you foreigners have corrupted us! :P
