An XBOX, a PS2 and judging by the controller and the bongos, a Gamecube (although I don't see it) and the lad chooses to use the VIC-20. That's a smart kid.

Re: Cottonwood BBS

I'm not sure if VoIP is available in your area... Actually, Canada leads the world in the availability of VOIP services. In Ontario VOIP is offered by Bell , Rogers , Vonage and Primus as well as a number of smaller providers. As a result, competition is stiff and prices are very competitive. Come ...

This probably isn't the place for me to ask this as the site is oriented towards the VIC-20 but having never used E-UAE (the Mac OS X version of UAE) for anything more than games, I'm as curious as heck. Are you guys saying that a hard disk attached to a PC running UAE can be formatted and software ...

It's more complicated than you realize. The Wikipedia entry for InterTan has an accurate albeit brief explanation of the machinations. Regardless of what has transpired, we'll be seeing an increasing number of Radio Shack stores popping up over the next few years. Oddly, Circuit City who now control...

Has anyone actually tried this on the VIC-20? I don't know nearly enough about the VIC-20 or the Apple II to know if this even could work but if it did that would be wholly remarkable.

I would be very interested in checking it out once you've got a dump of the cartridge. I guess you were using a SuperPET with the Waterloo Structured BASIC ROM installed. Actually they were standard PET 8032s with an additional ROM board. When I upload this cartridge and you have a look at it, woul...

If I type "Waterloo STRUCTURED BASIC" (-ed not -al) I get more hits. Ah, this makes sense. When I first read your post I thought you had made a typo because I had never heard of "WATERLOO STRUCTURAL BASIC". Waterloo Structurered BASIC however is well known to me. The PETs we had...

There's an old saying that goes, "It's easier to ask for forgiveness afterwards than permission beforehand" and I think it applies in this case.

Hello. I've looked at this site on and off for a few years now and now that I've started to experiment with Power20 and VICE's Vic-20 emulation, I thought I'd register. Some of you will recognize my name from other message forums, comp.sys.cbm or the IRC and my nickname is just a contraction of my f...
