Re: CBM FileBrowser for uIEC SD2IEC MMC2IEC
I've tried the c16/Plus/4 version today with SJLOAD: http://bsz.amigaspirit.hu/sjl264/index_en.html Unfortunately, the text gets printed in reverse mode every other time you reload the directory. The colors are a bit wrong as well. See attached picture. Any idea why? I've made a tiny basic program s...

Re: Boray Gammon (Now V2.0)
I think the plus/4 version maybe turned out to be the best one. With extra shades of red on the board and maybe a little better sounds than in the c64 version.

Re: Boray Gammon (Now V2.0)
Now also for the Plus/4: This version is available for the C64 and the Plus/4 (or other 264-series computers with at least 32K of RAM). New AI-player, "Uncle Ted", who is a composite player. It's actually Clever Vic, Sid the Kid and Reckless Ray taking turns. Now possible to choose between...

Re: Boray Gammon (Now V2.0)
There is now a C64 version as well: http://www.boray.se/commodore/gammon/ The program was ported to the C64 in 2017 and also a bit improved upon. I tried to improve the AI, but in the end, the old "Clever Vic" wins more. I decided to add the new AI anyway as another opponent to choose from...

Re: VIC Game Club No. 11 – Paddle Games
My two paddle favorites are The Sky is Falling and Clowns.
Omega Race is one of my top favorite games ever, but not played with paddles.

I liked Road Race as a kid, especially the graphics for the instrumentation and driving with gears.

You are better off using mono directly to run .net applications in Linux. You need to install specific packages for visual basic support in mono.

Re: In the making: Arukanoido – an Arkanoid clone
Tried the latest demo. Very nice, but there was a bug. On first track, I got multiple balls, but maybe I just saw two. When all balls were lost the game just continued so I couldn't continue. Maybe two balls were traveling at exactly the same position or something. I resetted reloaded and played aga...

Re: Complete VICE Newbie needs help
When buying SD2IEC here, you can choose to take power from the user port instead of the tape port, and it will work with the plus/4 as well: https://www.thefuturewas8bit.com/index.php/shop/commodore.html I guess that would be the best for most people anyway. There are plenty of tape drives around, b...

Re: My 2-prong DC PSU experiments
Thanks for all the interesting info in this thread! I tried a 9v AC 30 watts transformer to get my 2 prong Vic working but was not satisfied with the result on my old Vic. The screen showes dark horizontal parts on the screen. These dark parts slowly move in a vertical direction. Found this thread ...
