Re: FreshLamb's games of 2013

I would be interested in a disk compilation of AJ & KJs games with a menu selection like jeff's collection.

I'm guessing they would all fit on one d64

Re: How do you make a demo?

I hear you need a high powered spectra-laser-scope which can put you on the grid from there you can manipulate the code on a bit-level. You can utilize all the memories at the disposal of the master control program.

Re: New Release : BLUE STAR

Beat this game again this time on the real thing with a zip stick.

Decided to do a cover for it, not as good as the doom one as I had to do the artwork myself.

Look forward to it.

Been gathering a list and collection of all the games, I'll have to add this one.

Looks complicated.

Re: Is 32k expansion common among VIC-20 enthusiasts?

I like to see the amazing things people are able to do unexpanded, but I have a 32k/35k cart so I like the more expansive games that can put it more in competition with stuff like the speccy. Not that bothered about using actual disks, even though I have a 1541, prefer to just load it up in the sd2i...

Re: Display issue on PAL VIC-20

Ha hum... all unmodified PAL VIC-20 will do that. It's caused by the way the color information is encoded on composite signals. The suggested S-Video mod causes the Luma+ sync and chroma signals to become separate. Of course, VICE will not simulate this effect. I knew you'd have the answer. So I ca...

Re: Release: Night of the Ninja

Just had a play on this for the past 45 minutes or so. I'm a Master Ninja, managed to rack up 190 points! Hints: The protectors can't go through or into lamps, so you can hide behind or inside them, unless they are the right letter then they can get you. Draw the protectors out from around the lamps...

Re: New Release : BLUE STAR

So I just had a go with this game and about an hour later I managed to crack it, but boy are my fingers aching.

Just one thing (highlight below to see spoiler)

Is there supposed to be No Ending, you just shoot the cpu and it disappears then you are stuck in the room?
