BASIC programs on disk

Where can I get some? I'm after programs on a D64 image which I can use to test my VIC20 prg gen project. I don't care what the programs do but it would be good if they needed different memory expansions.

Cheers

This would be a nice base to make a BASIC compiler for example.
Thanks for that. I had a go at a basic compiler a while ago for C64PrgGen but I wasn't superhuman enough to do it, so the chances of a VIC version are slim.

One of these days....

I downloaded it and tried to import a vic-20 basic prg and got the message: "This prg is not Commodore 64 BASIC 2.0". Hi, I forgot to turn that feature off. There's no way round it at the moment. I need to think about importing programs as they can go to different addresses based in the m...

VIC 20 Prg Gen 'Released'

Eh? After literally hours of work here's a demo of VIC20PrgGen, a cross development tool which runs under windows. A few of you might recognise its big brother, C64PrgGen. Anyway, I'd like you guys to play around with it and let me know what you think, either in this forum or at ajordison@yahoo.co.u...

I'm not too worried about the screen memory at the moment but thanks for the reminder, and the link, it'll be useful

BASIC programs in memory

Apologies if this has been asked before but where is the start of BASIC i.e. where basic programs are stored, for different memory configurations? Here's where I think they are: no expansion $1200 3K (block 0) $0400 8K (block 1) $1200 16k (block 1,2) $1200 24k (block1,2,3) $1200 Can anyone confirm/c...

That would be great to have a version for the Vic!. I think I even asked about that once! I'm pretty sure I have a second copy of the guide somewhere. I'll have a look around tomorrow for you. I'm not promising anything as most of my Vic stuff is buried in a cupboard at the moment but I will look! ...

Head on over to www.ajordison.co.uk

BTW, C64PrgGen can be persuaded to generate VIC programs already, if you're interested.

VIC 20 programmer's reference

Hi, Does anyone have one for sale? I'm the author of the infamous(?) C64PrgGen and I fancy having a stab at a VIC version. I know I can download one but I'm a fan of physical books! I recognise a few names here from C64 forums so hopefully you could advise me on whether it's worth doing or not. C64P...
