Follow the money trail: we're in that change cycle again driven by information security. Steel yourself in these draconian times.

BTW, quite the accomplishment by its author, open source and all, glad to see it's getting the attention it deserves.

Re: VIC 20 and Trackball
Yes, as stated: jitter from a real paddle... not trackball, in this context, to be used in place of paddle(s)? You know, Break-out! that polls for the joystick signal and paddle signal(s)? A trackball in joystick mode on a real VIC won't help much, unless you have poor paddle(s). But on a VICE emula...

Re: VIC 20 and Trackball
You might find some answers from this thread. You'll get best results running such things from an emulator. Although the (occasional) jitter from a real paddle adds to the challenge.

Re: C64C injection mould forms found
Yes, I'd prefer to see it go BLACK, like Pedro's modded VIC 20 using a C64C case. Having the game slot enlarged for VIC cartridges and a uIEC slot pre-cut would make that case more meaningful, too:

Re: C64C injection mould forms found
The obvious question: why PETSCII graphics on top of the key caps? Discouraging.

Re: What cartridge games were released C16 ?
Yeah, far too little made for that nifty VIC successor.
Makes me want to write and produce a *real* game cartridge library to run on both TEDs. Both those machines just sit in their respective boxes.

Re: Recording Video in VICE
FYI, looks like VICE development is updating their builds to include ffmpeg source code, and allow for compiling it for either shared or static use. There's more configurable compile-time features, but resurrected support for native recording video is welcome!

Re: I want one of these...
Yeah, these are built all the time. A lot of these are the same old Hyperspin install on an old XP box, with the same old catalog of > 25k worth of software titles and associated eye candy. Ask the YouTube authors how many of those games did they actually play? I prefer the homegrown cab and custom ...
