Re: New Game: VICSTRIP
Very interesting Mike and Tokra, you're really pushing the limits of our beloved machine to new frontiers :D . The possibility to reserve the lower area of the screen for the good ol' blocky text is a great feature (well, *new and hot* is apt for the game being  ), and surely opens the door...

Spotted a strange monitor (?)
Hi there, a couple of days ago I was in the small town where I was born. Nothing changed in 50 or so years, and I'm always happy to find all those places still intact: sweet memories come to mind, and all that melancholy stuff we all know well flows like a river. https://i.ibb.co/pZ97LyQ/IMG-2023032...

Re: Added approx. 1000 Vic-20 Games To Play Online
You can only play single file games. Much better to look for single games, download them, maybe also have a look at the instructions, and get them to work in VICE or online emulators. I tried this myself and must say it doesn't give a good impression of the VIC-20 world IMHO. But as I always say, de...

Download here. Works with full RAM only. Use HJUN to control, F1 to start.
Re: Targ
Nice improvement over a good original idea (which I did meet back then in one of the infamous Italian pirated cassettes). Thanks for this, will play it on a real VIC tonight

Re: Video noise on VIC-20
I purchased two of them a couple of years ago, one for the 128, and used the C64's also on my VIC-20s. I wasn't aware of this ripple, nor did I notice the video noise (not more than with other PSUs). Now I doubt about those products quality, and unfortunately the Polish one is my only PSU for the 12...

Re: Bible Series I and II reviewed - and possible problem
Thanks Mike, as always :) . This further adaptation of Mike's transfer program comes from a request made by an Italian forum member. Thanks to him, I became aware of the existence of this modern version of the 1581 disk drive, made available as a kit by Francesco Pontecorvo. Googled it, but didn't c...

You really found the words to describe what also is my thought about S-Video (I'm using CRT emulation in VICE, too).

Re: An idea for a useless project
It would be a great idea, as the screen would in fact be much more readable than the 64's (and already in the right color scheme, too). But I guess it's the kind of task requiring too many manual skills for me - like, creating the shell, etc. Maybe acquiring an already made one, like an empty SxX-64...
