Yes, very good use of graphics for a type-in!

Re: Graal for sale
Auction ended March 18th because "item no longer available"! I'm guessing that the seller got an off-ebay offer. I've told this story here before, but back at the World of Commodore show in Toronto about 1983-4 I held a sealed copy of this game in my hands which I found on a software clear...

Re: Behaviour of katakana keys on VIC-1001?
Yes, I heard that too. The VIC-1001 starts up in Upper Case Latin alphabet mode, then when you press C=/SHIFT it switches to Katakana mode (pressed anytime - not held down on boot). There is no lower case Latin alphabet mode like on the VIC-20. I have never seen a VIC-1001 in person, this is just wh...

Re: Translation of Japanese accessories list?
I think HANDIC was just licensed to distribute Commodore products in Sweden, but they still were "official" Commodore products in the sense in that the used the Commodore VIC-15XX numbering system and the packaging (I think) was the extremely similar (the silver box motif). HANDIC did chan...

Re: *ALL PHYSICAL COPIES ARE SOLD OUT*: REALMS OF QUEST V (Digital version is available)
I'm also modifying the manual and adding content. I changed the cover, too (Just slightly--I might revert to the original, I'm just procrastinating). realms2.jpg Hi Ghislain, I had to play "where's Waldo" comparing the two covers for a while before I noticed the change(s). Although a smal...

Re: Mega-Cart Easter Egg Thread
Thanks Centallica for that posting about the Easter Eggs. I finally got to see my serial number Easter Egg after all these years.
I have Mega-Cart 010, what other numbers do people have?

Re: Mega-Cart Easter Egg Thread
Hey Centallica! Been a long time! I don't know of anyone who can tell how to reach the serial number Easter Egg. I seem to recall 6502dude mentioning that there's also supposed to be a customized easter egg (customized to each purchaser), but that might be the same as the serial number easter egg. I...

A question:
- In the Merchant's in the town of Wynna, there is a Balthazar Ring for sale. It's not listed in my (physical) copy of the game's manual. What does it do?

Re: Anyone have success running "PET LOADER"
I think the Avalon Hill games were programmed in almost vanilla (i.e. cross platform) BASIC so they could easily be ported across systems. Therefore I would expect few to no POKEs.

Re: Anyone have success running "PET LOADER"
It still needs to do POKE translations on the fly though to be a real PET emulator (i.e. just load PET software and play).

Re: *ALL PHYSICAL COPIES ARE SOLD OUT*: REALMS OF QUEST V (Digital version is available)
I am about half-way through the game, but I've still not found a way to revive a player who has fallen asleep (i.e. sleep spell). I can't find a spell to do that. Only way I've found is resting at in inn. Is there any other way to waken a sleeping party member? Also, are spells of protection cumulat...

Re: Realms of Quest V FAQ/hints/walkthrough?
PS: I was successful in transferring all my SAVEG files from the real floppy to a .D81 of version 1.2 on my uIEC.

Re: Realms of Quest V FAQ/hints/walkthrough?
If I downloaded the new 1.2 version you made, I would consider playing it from the uIEC though, now that I have experienced the floppy method. Can it be run from a .D81 image? Also, can the save game files from the floppy version be migrated to the .D81 image version of the game? Yes, you can trans...
