but why does the old forum link still work, but leads to a blank page? I keep using the wrong link all the time. It comes up when I type sl in the address line of Firefox.

Just wanted to clarify what sort of solution I could get with just the XA1541 cable until such time as I can get my hands on a 1541 disk drive. Would this allow me to load/save programs directly to the hard-drive of my PC (i.e is the cable and software emulating a 1541). Looking at the web-site it ...

I don't know what the big Vic-20 gurus here will say but I would prioritize B and C. The main thing is to be able to download programs off the internet and transfer them to a disk and run them on your Vic-20. Plus you can also share your programs with the rest of the world if you want. But get a cas...

Thanks. I like speedscript because it is the only word processor (for the C64) from which I can convert the files to .txt files for the PC.
