couldn't resist

Yes, it is Dutch and I don't speak this language. But since it is a language very close to German (it's like you are totally drunk and try to speak and write German - no offense my Dutch friends  ), I tried to give you a translation as good as I can (surely improvable, it was very low-res and ...

Sorry...

...didn't realize that there was a thread about this already and that it is not the VIC actually tweeting here. But one has to admit that they did everything to make the crowd believe that this is not a VIC terminal but a real implementation of a twitter client on the VIC. Too bad. If it's not a twe...

Ok, I finally got it to work. But I still have two problems. The screenshots seem to be far too small in the program. The look good as saved to folder, but the program crunches them so much that I cannot make out the image. The big problem is that I can't play any of the games in VICE because memor...

@ last 2 posts: Thank you very much! Good to hear all that. I will continue with another review soon. For now, I am focussing cart games but I have thought about one or two tape games as well. We'll see.

I use the latest VICE version and played around with aspect ratio, which helps indeed to make it more "VICish" but not on the color issue. Try with THIS vpl palette, it should be better. Save it in your PC, then Settings -> Video Settings -> VIC Palette -> External Palette -> Browse.. I k...

Thanks Folko for this one, I really appreciate your reviews - they make me see the games in a different prespective. KA's manual is a little jewel; I'd printed it in all its colors if only the resolution was a little higher. Note that the joystick pictured in the manual is the Atari model  . ...

You've tried the pal-emulation option in VICE? Makes it a little more "real" even in NTSC :) Yep. But to me, that's not a solution (which I am not looking for since I have a real VIC :D )... If you watch games on a Commodore Monitor the colors look bright, flashy and a little bit blurred ...

K-Razy Antiks http://www.folko.de/gardenwars/antikscart.jpg A (almost) true VIC game K-Razy Antics from K-Byte/Kay Enterprises was distributed by CBS in 1983. It is one of the three known cartridges for the VIC from CBS. One important thing to know in the first place is that K-Razy Antiks can only ...

Thanks folko for your review, it made me want playing this game with the Mega-Cart. BTW, why, do you think playing it in VICE is not a satisfactory experience? Coming up next: Review "K-Razy Antics". One of the most beautiful layouted imanuals reveals the secrets of one of the highest und...

I really enjoyed the review. It's nice to see something in-depth about a game that is largely ignored or derided. I look forward to your future reviews (there's a lot of Vic games out there!). :) Thank you! I will continue then to praise the forgotten ones. :) If I can be so bold as to suggest a co...

Thx, English Invader. Actually, I believe I was one of the first to order the Mega-Cart (at least I did it before the Website was officially announced here). Never got an answer. Then after some time I sent a reminder email, but never recieved a response, again. There might be some problem with the ...
