This looks awesome.
Maybe you could hold some contest or something here where the winner gets his face digitized and put in the game as a wrestler. Of course, he would have to have a great name like "VIC-Thundar" or "Macho Man VIC".

Re: VIC prototyping boards
Nice! My wife and I both grew up in the Chattanooga / north Georgia area. Our families are still there. I escaped when I was 18 and went back and rescued her later. I know Chattanooga quite well... or used to. In fact, my VIC 20 was bought at the K-Mart in East Ridge (gone now, i think), '82 or '83...

Re: Coming soon : Robots Rumble
This looks great. Seems like an original idea for the VIC too. Can't wait to play this. Suggestion for a sequel: You play a robot overlord who takes revenge on all humans and the goal is to push humans into lava if they don't provide manual labor (such as cranking wheels to generate electricity). lo...

Re: Introduce Yourself: What's your User Name based on?
My username is based on my nickname and real name. My given name is Cecil. My middle name starts with a "B" (and is private) and my last name is Meeks. As a kid, my friends and family just called me "CB". So, "cbmeeks" is what I am known as online (I tried to maintain t...

My PET 8032 died a while back. I buried it in the pet cemetery and it came back to life as a ZX Spectrum.

Re: What colour is the VIC-20 case originally before yellowing?
I can open up the case to get a shot of the insides which were obviously well protected from UV. Unfortunately, UV exposure is only a part of the problem. The ratio of bromine, quality of plastic, age, etc. all factor in. For example, I had a C128 that was "whiter than white" when I put i...

Not sure if this has been asked, but does this forum have a Patreon account? I give to several YouTubers (and a developer) each month via Patreon and would be glad to send a buck or two this way each month.

Dummy trying to understand the VIC-20
I'm looking over the 6560/61 datasheet over at http://archive.6502.org/datasheets/mos_6560_6561_vic.pdf Some of it is making sense but some of it is not. Especially the parts around multi-color mode and hi-res modes. So, is there some type of visual guide representing how the different video modes l...

Re: Games we want to see
I second Chuckie Egg for the VIC-20. I have fond memories of that game on the C64 and would love to see it on the VIC.
