Oh, and they have 9VAC 1A adapters, too... I'm thinking they'd make good PSU's for inside a custom case. :)

There's the page with 9.5V 1.5A power supplies. :) Have at it!

They're only $5.95 each.

Usually most IC's will be hurt more by under-voltaging them. Think about overclocking modern CPU's... you normally increase the voltage to get the transistors to switch fastter. In turn, it runs hotter. But the .5v difference on the power supply probably isn't a big deal, since it most likely has re...

IP Address for Q-Link

Anyone know the working IP address for Q-Link? I have it at home, but that doesn't help me here at work... :)

go.quantumlink.tk resolves as 66.135.38.238, which isn't correct.

Anyone have the other IP?

Ah, I remember my dad bringing home the Vic-20 and hooking it up to our 19" Heathkit TV.

Ah, the good 'ol days.

Stuff like that makes me wish I woulda grabbed the old wind-up cash registers from the deli that I used to frequent when I was a kid.

They replaced them with electronic ones.

Bummer.

Makes me want to clean up a vic case and spray it black... :)

Actually, Hm... I thought of another color scheme that I think would look more impressive... maybe... or maybe it'd look like an 80's bronco.

Yea, running at native resolution on any LCD is key. Anything less is puke'ish. Now, I have a 550W power supply in my PC... but I'm pretty darn sure I'm not using all 550W of available power. The ratings of how much devices draw are usually over-rated a little bit, and in the case of most PC power s...

Average PC 78 Watts? Don't CPU's draw about that by themselves... not counting video cards, hard drives, optical drives, and the monitor attached?
