Looking for an old basic tank game

Hi I'm looking for a game I used to have on tape, it was an unexpanded basic game where a single char user defined tank drove around in a forest destroying other tanks. Kind of like tank commander but far simpler. Does that ring a bell for anyone? Unfortunately I can't remember the name. :( It would...

I'm enjoying my cart very much, the Vic has displaced the C64 next to the xbox.

Very sad news. Paul was a unique character and definitely an individual on the C= scene. May your dreams bring you data.

I'd love to see a clone the DATA-20 if I could, the hardware seems simple enough. I suspect making an RGB version with the same ROM and CRT controller wouldn't be that tough either. I'd even buy blank PCBs if someone were to make a clone of the origional. Yes interfacing the 6545 CRTC is very simpl...

All you need is a vic and a mega-cart. Pretty unintrusive retro system.

Unfortunately for my parents, the first three Vic games they bought for me were Rat Race, Omega Race and Alien; three of the most annoying sounding games in history.

UDS10 operates like a modem, transparently working with existing C= serial and terminals. BBS like yesterday!

Small world :)
Snazzy hack, your image handling method would work well for Gideon's project in standalone mode. Is that the plan?

Why can't you accept the VIC as she is? I see 8k expansion as breast enhancement surgery, a 3k cart is a nose job. I find it hard to be a 5K purist. IMHO it was a large mistake for C= to ship the VIC with that 3K hole, 8K stock would have been a lot more useful and been a better baseline for ...

A banked RAM approach, like geoRAM/BBGRam/and RamLink is easy to build. REU requires a way to stop the processor, which I do not believe the VIC-20 has. Back when I used to do most of my computing via serial, I started a design for interfacing a 6545 CRTC, 6551 UART and 32KB of RAM windowed through...

Here's a d64 with a patched full version to run from disk, and a single load version without the intro. I will see if I can get the intro onefiled with the game.

I've uploaded the Anirog version of Frogger if you wish to check it out. I know Anirog did license games from other companies (especially Kingsoft in Germany) but I believe this is one of theirs... Yes it's pretty much the same game but there are some tiny differences. The intro is different of cou...
