I wasn't sure if there were images of all the cartridges so I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.

I grabbed them all and put them into a zip which can be downloaded from here. Do you suppose we should ask to use those photographs or is this one of those instances where it's better to risk having to apologize later than to ask for permission up front?

That picture would make a fantastic new avatar for Boray.

Congrats on your milestone.

What do you mean by profile, your account? Regardless of what you mean you should probably send a PM to Jeff-20.

You can find both the last 14 disk-based issues as well as a complete collection of the earlier disks here.

Just adding a quicl post to make this thread more searchable - took me 20 mins to find it. What were you searching for? The words "Mega-Cart" and "dumper" appear in both the subject and multiple posts so regardless of whether you searched for posts or topics, this should have be...

Again, this is more or less the exact same computer I reviewed back in 2008 where I said "this would be what a C64 could look like today" and gave the various reasons for it. Yeah, we know. You already posted a link to your blog. :) I know it's just one little Commodore blog I run in the ...

I saw a picture of one a few years ago that had been painted/dyed black and didn't look nearly as bad. Just losing the pastel coloured buttons would probably be a huge improvement.

I thought it odd when the first page of text came up but I know that your games often have a back story so I figured that's what was going on. I didn't recognize the music yet and the text had me perplexed and I distinctly remember thinking, 'start the game already'. A moment later the chorus came u...

You should download a copy of the 1581 user's guide from here and direct your attention to page 77 where you'll find information about partitions and sub-directories.

Re: New Tape Hardware

We were looking for a way to confirm that it did in fact work on a VIC-20 before posting here. No better place to find out than a community of VIC-20 users. You might want to run that one through the meat processor again. :) If anyone in Australia has a spare VIC-20, please let me know. It would be...

I'll point out that several of Think Geek's past April Fool's jokes (you can find a comprehensive list here) created sufficient demand for the fake item that they actually went ahead and made the item. In fact, today I wore one of their jokes from 2007, the 8-bit Tie.

Me likey. The music is particularly catchy although I have this strange feeling I've heard it before.

Everyone: Send your Mega-Carts back to 6502dude for a ROM upgrade. This one is worthy of inclusion.

Re: New Tape Hardware

I don't see the need to ask permission to post about it here, even as a matter of courtesy. It was Golan who sought permission. I asked because I was fairly sure he knew about Denial and wanted to make sure that he hadn't specifically chosen not to post here. He never got round to posting and it se...
