Wow, I've just loaded this up one one of my PAL VICs via a 1084s monitor and it looks GOOD

I'm blown away by the smoooooth animation, it's almost like a C64 game

In answer to your first question regarding the reset circuit, I recently got a Commodore 64 which had the same problem, the reset signal would not behave properly (it stayed low, or high, cant remember which!)

I changed the capacitor associated with the 555 timer (556 on a c64) which fixed it

I was watching that VIC too. I think that one was an early model, so maybe some people suspected it might be one with the more collectible PET keys and it developed into a bidding frenzy £82 is not a usual price for a working VIC. I bagged one last month for £24 including postage comprising a vic, p...

Hi Guys I've been lurking on here for a while, but a few days ago the forum seemed to be locked out for non members so I thought I'd join in the fun "officially" I'm in Coventry, UK - I got my first computer ( a VIC) back in 1983 but sadly I sold it to get a C64 a few years later. I bitter...
