Wow, I've just loaded this up one one of my PAL VICs via a 1084s monitor and it looks GOOD
I'm blown away by the smoooooth animation, it's almost like a C64 game

I was watching that VIC too. I think that one was an early model, so maybe some people suspected it might be one with the more collectible PET keys and it developed into a bidding frenzy £82 is not a usual price for a working VIC.
