Hey all,

What are the options for "expanding" the cartridge port? I'd like to plug in more then one cartridge at a time...

Actually I was in the process of "talking someone down" on the cart, and then finally went for my price. So I had to do it!

Couldn't resist - bought a Hesmon cart.

@Orion70: thanks :) well, speaking about a new game, it will depend most of all on the amount of spare time and on how quickly I'll be able to find the info about those subjects, missing pieces of the puzzle; it seems that the books cover the "basics", so I suspect that I'll have to disas...

I think you are right, 35.5k seems to be the magic number.

I only use other devices to either enable me to communicate with other VIC users or to amplify my ability to earn money to further support the hobby. :lol: Nice! I like it! I'm in the IT industry as some of you are I'm sure... That's how I amplify my ability to earn money for more VIC stuff!!! :D

Well, I have DASM all set up with the Crimson (Emerald) Editor and it works great with VICE, etc.

I thought it would be cool to develop on the VIC.

I know some guys develop their BASIC programs directly on the VIC, but maybe ML is just to brutal to do directly on the VIC (???)

I was thinking and doing a small amount of internet research and found that there were 64k RAM expansion cartridges available for the VIC-20. This got me to thinking... How much RAM can the VIC address if the RAM could be "hooked" up appropriately to the VIC? Could four 64k carts be put in...
