Qix - how cool, I never realized this game was released on the vic. I guess a lot of the games never filtered their way from Europe to Australia. Looking forward to playing this one!

The Australian models had this as well - i never connected it to anything (in one case it actually fell off!) and it worked fine.

got it worked out - take the text file (make sure it is in lowercase) - run it through tok64 - drop the prg file into x64 - save to disk image - load from disk image to xvic - happy days

sounds like scuba - a type in listing game from the book "Sixty programs for the vic 20" did it have scrolling changing color fish and sharks that you had to dodge as u dove up and down the screen?

txt to prg - can it be done?

I have some text files made from OCR scans - can these be converted to .prg files that can be played in VICE? - if so any help would be appriciated. - by the way love this forum! :)
