Qix - how cool, I never realized this game was released on the vic. I guess a lot of the games never filtered their way from Europe to Australia. Looking forward to playing this one!

emulator most of the time, just for the convienience. but sometime u just have to fire up the real thing!

cool - nothing beats having the real article to play games and develop projects on.

The Australian models had this as well - i never connected it to anything (in one case it actually fell off!) and it worked fine.

just put the scuba listing through the OCR software and got it running on VICE. here is a screenie

atari 2600, vic20, c64, gameboy, snes, sega megadrive - never enough hours in the day to play everything

got it worked out - take the text file (make sure it is in lowercase) - run it through tok64 - drop the prg file into x64 - save to disk image - load from disk image to xvic - happy days

i have the scans - but no account with the bandwidth to host them. If anyone wants to i can e-mail them a winrar archive of the scans

sounds like scuba - a type in listing game from the book "Sixty programs for the vic 20" did it have scrolling changing color fish and sharks that you had to dodge as u dove up and down the screen?

I have some text files made from OCR scans - can these be converted to .prg files that can be played in VICE? - if so any help would be appriciated. - by the way love this forum!
