I like the beta skip level feature for testing.

Level 17 has graphic corruption of the player and the 4th Hexagon with character redraw.

you should have just released a 3-level "shareware" demo, to build the anticipation of the final release :D

I remember programming a friends vic20 to flash random border/screen color combinations and play random music tones. His father thought it would blow up the computer and damage the TV - ahhh.....good times :D

Re: Getting going again

Hello, I am looking to return to my original Vic-20 after a gap of over 20 years. Amazingly it is still in working order after I rescued it from my parent's garage over the recent Christmas holiday (all bar the Cassette unit which will save programs but won't load them back again). My kit also incl...

That book (and the others in the Usborne series) were the first books that got me in to programming at about age 10. I remember the great satisfaction of not only typing in a listing and having the game work, but more importantly - having an understanding of how the program worked (Ghost Maze teachi...

It just suddenly hit me! Some may still be confused as to why Frogger's protagonist cannot touch the water without dying. Although, frogs can swim, the water depiction itself reveals much about the game. After close examination of this most recent (and more accurate) version of the scenario, I've n...

cool - kinda like the 256 byte demo scene for the pc - but specially adapted for the vic (or c64). I'm in - just gotta come up with a good idea now :D
