Cant find much, if any info on this searching, anyone know if they are worth anything or need preserving?

Ive often wondered how to do it on a VIC, pretty straight forward on the 64 if you have an Action Replay but what about the VIC? Ive quite a few tapes here I wouldnt mind sticking on disk

It was indeed the VIC chip, replaced now fully functioning once again!

Anyone any thoughts?

Tested U12 from B in a working VIC and it works so i can now rule that out, on that machine at least

Two deaders (for now) one an earlier two prong VIC (A), the other a later round DIN type(B), ive checked on Ray Carlsons page and Im thinking UE12 on both, heres the symptoms 1. Blank screen (a flicker on B, nothing at all on A) 2. No cassette motor even though there is 5v on the port 3. Disk drive ...

lol, yes, should have stated, NM=Not mine, just thought it was a rare-ish title considering Retrogames has it up for £30! (always inflated I know but still, quite a lot!)
