...to complete my collection. If anyone has one they are willing to part with, let me know! I've been watching Ebay, but they are few and far between.
Well I'm in the US, so I need a NTSC model!

VIC-20 With Accessories, tapes, tape drive, and some other stuff, in ORIGINAL BOX.... $10 at a thrift store... outside of Vinton (close to Roanoke); The thrift store was a Goodwill - the only one in Vinton at Lake Drive Plaza. Anyone, if its still the...

Further Troubleshooting
Upon disassembly, it looks like Capicitator on the bottom side of IC UT2 is damaged. I pushed in some of the ICs, thinking after years they might have come loose from their sockets, and when I rebooted, one of the @ artifacts was gone. I attempted to load the built in software, but it failed again a...

allright guys,
I took it apart, cleaned the head, eliminated all the dust inside and cleaned and lubed the rails. Waited overnight, still won't find a directory, and knocks like a machine gun!

1541 head realignment
Allright Experts - I think my brown 1541 drive has a misaligned head. I get file not found when searching for the $ file, but my 1571 drive finds $ just fine.
Does anyone have some instructions I can use? I see them on ebay, but I really don't want to buy a PDF if someone has one to share!

2. Can the C64 Keyboard be adapted into USB or PS/2?
Thanks guys

Almost a dead VIC -
OK, I got the VIC I took from the closet, finally found the PSU. It buzzes like a mad swarm of bumblebees, but I turn on the power, ge the power LED and then no video. I'm using the composite video port to the same monitor my C128 uses. I don't have a way to test the RF video yet - but I did hook up...

2-Prong Versus DIN Power Supply
Hello all! After a bout of nostalgia, I dug out my old VIC-20. I remember why it originally got replaced with a C-64 in the first place - the power supply went bad. I do have a Maxtron replacement PSU, but its the "universal" VIC or C64 replacement. So, any of you guys made an adaptor from...
