Nice! I can see that futuristic one being used by someone for a game. Number six is a rip-off! :-D ;-)

D'oh. I just had PAL emulation on, but I forgot to check VIDEO STANDARD to make sure it was PAL too. Fixed now. Thanks. Now I can't seem to pull up the task manager window... PAL Emulation is just a display filter, BTW. It's kind of similar to the scanlines setting in that it alters the way ...

I could only find this, and I'm not sure but I think it may have been altered to work with joystick only. It's worth a shot: http://www.planetemu.net/index.php?section=roms&dat=502&action=showrom&id=660230 The Tech-Sketch light pen worked with (and was often packaged with) a paint progra...

Re: Light Pen software

I am looking for light pen software for the vic-20 or the C-64. I purchased something on eBay and the box came with a light pen but WITHOUT the software disk. I am looking for graphics software or anything that you might suggest. Jonathan Wait, I'm not sure that all light pens are created eq...

Re: Converting disks to images from multiple system formats?

So, while I know there are system by system ways to make disks usable on a PC - cabling from original drives to PC and whatnot - I was wondering how I might set up the most compatible single drive solution. You could get a CatWeasel floppy drive controller. That covers most of your desired disk typ...

It is possible, as long as someone speaks for you at the show.
Actually, I was thinking about asking you since I knew you were going. Would that have been acceptable, even though we're not in a scene group together?

I wish they would allow remote entries. :-( They could do that and still keep it as a North American show.

Yeah, I've been watching a couple of Ebay auctions to see how much the Intellivision goes for. It's a little rich for my blood at the moment so ice stuck a couple of quid on one of those 25 in 1 plug and play controllers to get a feel for the system before I invest in the real deal. I know the cont...

Ah, I see what you guys mean. I was thinking in terms of something like this, which the font resembles somewhat. Here the emphasis is on thick-thin, with most thick lines being on the left (but not limited to the left). http://s1.postimage.org/3QzB0.jpg But like I wrote earlier, I do like the font i...

Very cool, Jeff! I hope you don't mind but I attached a screenshot here (click to view larger):

You seem to be missing a few fonts: the close parentheses, close bracket, and the question mark. I think that's it.

I like it! :-)

Sorry to keep hijacking your thread but how do these games play compared to the Vic? Are they playable for someone new to the system or does nostalgia play a big part? Well, if you think you'd still like VIC-20 games if you were new to that system, then you'd probably like Inty games. They play abo...
