Re: Assembly Programming with CBM Prg Studio

Well, I have been working on something all right now using CBM Prg Studio and I like it :) My big complaint is since I am trying to rate my performance I am using the Debugger basically to count cycles and I get some off readings and from update to update it gets even weirder BUT the overall gist of...

Re: ColorRun Retro

I got a beginner and a couple of Lamers after rushing a touch but got an Average for my troubles...ended up with a Beginner when I tried to get serious...it is challenging :)

Re: (wip) Exit Plan Z

Gave it a go - its a nice premise...I think the battle system could do with an overhaul...the overhead view feels more like a whack-a-mole type game at that point.

Eager to see it develop. :)

Re: WIP - Demons of Dex

I am not sure if it's something with the random seed generator but when I miss in a fight so does the enemy - I do not recall the enemy ever hitting me when countering - not ever - they always seem to miss too. Just seems odd...not that the game isn't challenging as is.

Re: hooking up two computers to one 1541c

This is from the Star Commander docs this should help clarify what you need to do - If you use the built-in drive of a C128D or an SX64 or you want to use the same Commodore drive from a Commodore machine and a PC then you must execute a POKE command on the Commodore machine: - Commodore 64/128 : &q...

Re: hooking up two computers to one 1541c

I would imagine that would lead to channel issues with the drive. The fact you can unplug the C64 and then it kicks over means that the drive is still seeing the c64 connection and dismissing the Vc20. I wonder if something is left 'floating' - certain someone will shed some more detailed light on t...

The photos confirmed it.

BTW, I also have 2 SPO256-AL2 chips in stock.
Ya, I noticed that too...I'm like 'what the?!!' - so you have 2 in stock eh? Cool. :D

Re: Protecto Votrax-based speech synthesizer

This is interesting here is an internal pic of what it might be... Upping an old thread because I just bought a Protecto voice synthesizer in ebay, and googling around I found that it may be the above mentioned "speakeasy - c" cart: From http://www.evg2000.com/html/Commodore_Vic_20.htm ext...

3D Printed ICs

Since some of the Commodore chips are in short supply, I'm wondering if this might be viable in the near future? There seems to be steady growth in this field.

Any thoughts?

Ya that's right but its just using the power and the data lines right - it should be easily portable correct?

It's a fun game but sometimes its easy when it gives you multiple potions other times its suicide. Frustratingly addictive!
