Re: Issues with my Vic 20
I was working away at my latest program, when, upon testing my program, my screen went all screwy. I turned the computer off and on again, but this is all I get whenever I power up my Vic 20: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=jHeglSK3s2c Suggestions? Sorry to necropost, especially a thread with so much...

The vic is my #2 fav 8bit.. A new 80 col card would definitely bump it to the top if someone could clone them. My vic would get tons of use as a terminal with a real 80 col display. The 22col display is just to much for me do deal with for any amount of real hacking. My #1 8bit is my CoCo2. Its sooo...

Just a quick tip: if the VIA chips in the drives have failed, it may be only one chip per drive (there are two in each drive). You might be able to get two good chips out of the bunch, just keep swapping them around and see what happens. Just a update... UC2 6522 VIA (MOTOR CONTROL INTERFACE) faile...

All i have is the interface unit and the cable that hooks it up to the VIC via the joystick port. No docs or anything. I will open it up and snap some pics for you this wee...

Q about Vic 1111 cart.
Can the memory locations be changed on this cart to put some ram on BLK5?
I opened it up and there seems to be jumper pads for setting something.

This should be a fixed version of radiotap that can be autostarted from RAM in BLK5 - $A000, or, after removing the two load address bytes from the start, can be used as an autostart cart image. Lee. Wow you da man! Thanks for hacking that for me. I tryed it in VICE and got it to go. Now i just nee...
