Re: Prince of Persia

That explains why I was having issues. I never saw the sword, I was trying to fight with my hands. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Prince of Persia

Sweet, I brought on a new upgrade 👍. While I'm here, I need to ask how to fight the guy with a sword? I'm unable to make my guy punch or kick, all he does is run and jump.

I wish somebody with the ability and know how, built and sold these completed. I for one would buy one.

Re: Prince of Persia

One thing I noticed and I'm not trying to be critical or anything is that "daughter" in the intro is spelled wrong. It's spelled "daugther". Just pointing it out.

Re: Prince of Persia

That was it, I wasn't patient enough. I am using the "Backbit" and its working fine. Just needed to wait for it to completely load. Thanks.

Re: Prince of Persia

Yes, I am definitely using 35k extra. I see the intro screen, but after pressing joystick, the screen goes blank and nothing happens.

Re: Prince of Persia

I still have not been able to run this Prince O P. When the game starts, I see the intro screen but when I click my joystick button, the screen goes blank except for a few jumbled characters on the screen. Is there anything I am missing?

Re: Got a New Game Cart: CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE WORST KIND !!!

So, how many years ago did you find those? I haven't even seen a dot Gobbler on ebay in years. Chances of finding any of those other carts is very very low indeed.

That is phenomenal you have all those carts. I've never seen any of them in real life except Dot Gobbler. The company that made those carts, OEM, I believe is in Fort Pierce, Florida. Same state as me 🙂.

Here is the picture. Better late than never.

Here is the pic of the cart. I don't have the box or instruction manual.

All I can assume is that VIC-20 was SO RARE, he sold it and made millions. He's so rich, he got sidetracked and never got back to this thread :D

Sounds good. I'll do a re-dump later when I get home. Thanks for making me aware of the error.

Re: How to convert Tap files to D64? (was: Re: 5 Ultra-Rare Games by "Aim Software")

You mentioned something that I have a question about. You said the AIM games gave you a lot of trouble so you made them all "one-filers". How did you go about making them one filers? Is it possible to do that via Tapex? When I use Tapex, it breaks the tap file up into several prg files.

Thanks for converting those tap files. I tried myself and was unsuccessful in getting the D64 to work. What programs did you use to create them? I used Tapex and Dirmaster.
