Yes,

That was the source for the first .jed file I tried. It didn't work.

I posted the .jed file I created from dumping the PLA on my website in the downloads section in case people want to play with it.

Got this note back from the tester: I got your PLA in on Friday, and it's been going all weekend with no problems. 1) I ran the C64 Diag cart for about 260 cycles (several hours). 2) Ran several Ultiimax carts 3) Ran several standard game carts. 4) Ran several speeder carts (Fastload, WarpSpeed V2, ...

Will you be adding code to reserve a bit of memory to store the screen display to let users continue where they left off rather than repaint the screen?

WTB: VIC-20 Power Supply (round connector)

Hey everyone, I have a VIC-20 system in the box with lots of pieces... the only problem is that the power supply has swelled up like a softball and is dead. So... I'm looking for a later model VIC-20 power supply - the one with the round connector. Not looking to spend a fortune... and can trade chi...

Thanks! I have small cache of new PLS100 and 82S100 programmable logic array chips. The problem I had was that the fixed version of the chip (MOS labeled) wasn't a programmed one so it wouldn't read. To top it off, the .jed file that's available on the internet is bad. Chips programmed with it don't...

w00t! I have a PM over on the Lemon forum from someone willing to test the chip. Once it all looks good, I'll have NOS 82S100 and PLS100 chips programmed as fresh PLAs ready to sell... I'll also post the .jed file on my site in the downloads section for anyone that wants it. I already had someone as...

Tester needed: C64

I posted this on the Lemon64 forum yesterday... thought I'd ask over here too. I have a supply of NOS (New Old Stock) 82S100 and PLS100 chips and have programmed one as a replacement PLA. I need someone to put it through its paces: Test with carts, cassettes, and disk programs are needed to make sur...

Late post to a long dead thread... On any Apple IIe/IIc machine you can run the built in memory diagnostics by pressing ctrl-open apple-closed apple-reset It will show you what memory chips are bad. If it has an * beside it then it's one of the upper 64K bank that's bad (on the 80 column card on the...

Re: Can you use a 6502B clocked at 1Mhz in a Vic20?

I have some As but haven't put them on the site yet. The B is just a faster rated CPU that can run at a higher clock speed. It will run fine in the VIC 20.

Sally is different from a 65C02. You could probably use it if you did the appropriate wiring changes, but it's far easier to just drop the pin compatible 65C02 in the socket instead.

By tie high, you take a 330 ohm resistor and connect the HALT* pin to +5v through it.

You can also have it fixed by a nearby forum member that does repairs. I'm in Texas, but surely there's a hardware handy member near you.
